This Christmas, we are privileged to be working with Make-A-Wish Singapore to make a wish come true for TS, a 13-year-old boy suffering from intractable epilepsy – a condition where seizures cannot be completely controlled by medicines. Recommended by his therapist, TS' wish is to have a customised wheelchair so that his parents can bring him outside to play with water and a ball. Being introverted in nature, TS tends to keep to himself, so experiencing the little joys of being outdoors and enjoying the sound of water which he loves means a great deal to him.

All sale proceeds of the Gingerbread Cookie Tower will go to raising $6,900 for a specialised wheelchair for TS. His customised wheelchair is fitted with high contour backing and cushion which provides postural integrity, pressure relief and moulding to TS' body shape. It includes a shoulder and leg harness with adjustable armrest, enhanced assisted brake and complete with a custom made lap tray for his feeding and play therapy.

Make-A-Wish Singapore's mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. With more than 1,900 wishes granted and counting, the Wish Journey helps children look past their situations and limitations, assist families in overcoming anxieties, and galvanise entire communities to bring hope, strength and joy at a time when they need it most.
